Modern Day Missionary was birthed out of a desire to share the true stories of the amazing ways God is working here and now, around the world. Do you ever read the book of Acts and wish you could live out these stories? Us too! Would you believe these stories are alive and happening today? We invite you to read the true stories of believers who are walking out the book of Acts today. The God who empowered the saints in the early Church is still alive and working today, and we don't want you to miss out. 

We wish to destruct the lies that you must live in a developing country to be a "missionary". This is simply not true! Our heart's desire is to challenge you to think outside the box -- our stories come from the least suspecting places that you'd expect God to be moving: from the cubicles of Silicon Valley, to a Lyft ride in New York, to the first class cabin of an international flight, to Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. to the middle of Iran, and everywhere in between! God is on the move. 

Our heart is to encourage you that God loves you and has a wild adventure waiting on the other side of small, simple acts of obedience in everyday situations, exactly where He has already placed you -- the gym, the coffee shop, your place of work, a train ride, or your neighborhood park. And the best part? No one is "on the bench" in this epic love story God is writing! Whether you are a retiree, a Mom working full time, or a busy exec, or in middle school -- God has a role for you to play and we're excited to spur you on for the amazing assignments He has had planned for you since the beginning of time!
